Independent

We are an independent, single site nursery which means we reinvest directly back into the facilities, further we are dedicated and focused on the continuous improvement of the nursery. Julie and the team are always available to speak to should you have any queries. Although we are a large setting, we continue to maintain a family friendly feel in the nursery, supported by key, long serving staff members.

Meals cooked fresh everyday onsite

All of our meals are cooked using fresh ingredients by Jackie and Tracey on-site, using home-style recipes with nutrition in mind. We are always developing our menus to support the use of seasonable fruit and vegetables, as well as children's preferences. We use a 6-week rotating menu system to ensure children are provided with well-balanced and varied meals. We are pleased to confirm that we have always maintained 5 stars from Environmental Health Inspectors.

Seven separate childcare rooms

We have seven separate childcare rooms with Room Leaders expert in their age group. Children do have opportunities in the day to join with younger and older children, however, our facilities mean children have the freedom to explore an environment that is safe and designed to engage and interest their specific age group. Further, this approach allows us to target their learning and development.  Allowing children to progress to a new room gives them new environments, routines and challenges to keep them stimulated..

Purpose designed facilities

We have newly developed, purpose designed facilities that are spacious, safe and colourful. We have maximised the space available to ensure children benefit from an indoor play area with a climbing frame, soft play ball pool and play equipment. We also have to separate garden spaces. Every day children spend time in these areas.

Secure Parent Portal

We have designed a bespoke Parent Portal system for our parents and carers to use. The system is very easy to use and allows you to make bookings at any time of the day or night, communicate remotely with practitioners during the day, follow how your child is doing in the day, receive notifications including booking reminders and forms that need to be reviewed, and track your child's learning and development. 

Topical Events

We provide children with fun events throughout the year to support our topics of the week as well as supporting our local community. We are fortunate to be able to use our large indoor play area for many of these. Events include supporting Children in Need, Sports Relief, World Book Day, World Science Week. We also arrange wildlife visits, carol singing, play and stay sessions, music and dance sessions as well as the annual end of term party for pre-school children.
